We are extremely sad to hear of the passing of Henry Foster (aged 20) on 22 May 2021 in Seattle, Washington. Henry played for Ionians for several years as a junior club member. He always had a cheeky smile on his face and a confident swagger. He was loved by his team mates and close friends within the club. Henry went on to play for Yorkshire at junior level and Sedbergh School 1st XV where he was a key member of the HSBC Roslyn Park 7's in 2018 as well as the National School 10's in the same year.

He will be greatly missed by his friends many whom continue to be involved at Hull Ionians RUFC.

A service was held for Henry in Seattle on Friday 4 June 2021 - our sincere condolences go to his parents Sean, Jo and sister Fran at this extremely difficult and sad time.
