Due to the increased number of members and guests who are bringing their Dogs to the Club, the Board thought we should remind all members of the Club Dog Policy.

Hull Ionians RUFC do allow dogs on site, but they must be kept on lead and supervised at all times. Dogs are allowed in the Clubhouse, on the outside patio area and on the hard surfaced areas around the pitches.

Dogs are not allowed onto any of the grassed areas at all, for obvious reasons. Dogs are not to be exercised or let off the lead on any of the grassed areas with the Club boundary.

We have provided a poo bag bin at the far side of the stand, should this be required.

I hope this notice is clear. Failure to comply with this Club Policy may result in you and your Dog being asked to leave the site. If you require any further information, please contact the Club Office.

Whilst we would confirm that Dogs are welcome at the Club, we feel that it is necessary to remind everyone of the Club Dog Policy as we are being regularly informed of Dogs being allowed onto the grass areas, especially on Sunday mornings. This is simply not on. The walking or exercising of a Dog on the Club Playing field areas is strictly forbidden for obvious reasons and, we expect any fouling of the surfaced areas is to be cleaned up by the handler of the Dog. If required, there is a ‘Poo-Bin’ at the far end of the Stand.

Obviously, we would not wish to be involved with any totally unnecessary incident, and we ask for your help in avoiding this.

This is your Club. The Board and Staff at the Club cannot be everywhere, and they cannot be expected to be the only ones who police this policy. You, as a member of the Club, have the right to challenge anyone, Club member or guest, who is abusing the Club Dog Policy and we ask that, if necessary, you do so.

Your assistance with this would be appreciated and we ask that you please report anyone being uncooperative to any available Board/Staff member.
