New journey for the Buccs & Ziggy Zgoda
After a 12 year journey of coaching his all conquering mini junior and colts team, Dan “Ziggy” Zgoda has agreed to become head coach of the Buccaneers.
Ziggy has a good knowledge of what it takes to run a successful 2nd team having been involved for many years with the Hawks as they were known then, captaining them to the premier league title in 2014.
He was delighted with the attendance on his first official training session with the squad on Thursday night.
The squad and Ziggy met before training where the teams goals and objectives were set for the season.
Number one priority is commitment from the players to fulfil all fixtures this season whilst developing the squads playing ability at training and finally creating players capable of playing for the 1st team!
Ziggy will work alongside Steady & Maliq to ensure the Buccs are fully up to speed on all things relating to the 1st team and the two teams will train together on a Thursday evening in team run’s.
