Lewis Minikin is once again leading the way in National 2 North. Following Saturday’s convincing defeat of Tynedale, Hull Ionians Lewis Minikin is now the Top Points scorer in National 2 North. As you can see Lewis is not just a great goal kicker, he also has 17 tries this season.

We have only one match left this season, which sees Blaydon travel to Brantingham Park on Saturday and, unfortunately, Lewis is unavailable to play as he is attending his brothers Wedding. So Lewis will not be able to add any more points to his total for this season but this is still a massive effort from Lewis, great work!

Lewis’s absence on Saturday leaves the door open for Sam Wilson to catch him up on tries scored this season. Sam needs a Hat-trick against Blaydon to take pole position as Hull Ionians top try scorer for season 2022/23. If Sam gets anywhere near the line this coming Saturday, I doubt if he will be off loading to Alfie again! Go for it Sam!
